Wat Suwandawas
Built in the early Ayutthaya period, Wat Suwandawas allows you to witness the manual hand-work behind creating the thousands of Buddha sculptures in the city.
The temple walls painted with beautiful murals date back to 1050s to 1070s. Though ancient, the wall paintings are well preserved and look marvellous.
The sprawling ancient ruins that form the Wat Suwandawas temple is located in the town of Ayutthaya. With its gardens, buddha statue, octagonal-shaped pagodas and beautiful architecture, one can experience a quiet and tranquil atmosphere here. Tourists enjoy driving through the temple premises and taking pictures.
