Burinda

Burinda is a small local restaurant that does at least two things very well. The first thing is their Pad Thai. This is most likely the best pad Thai in Ayutthaya, beautifully presented on banana leaves and packed with flavour and big juicy prawns. A plate of Pad Thai Goonsod costs you 89 THB, and there two other versions available as well with either chicken/pork and squid. Their delicious Pad Thai makes it a popular place for tourists to grab lunch and dinner. The second thing they do best is the Thai Spicy Basil with Pork (69 THB), which is a simple pad kra pao but with excellent flavouring and a perfect fried egg. This is an excellent choice for those of you would like to have a spicy meal.
