Silp Pa Cafe
Silp Pa Cafe used to be a small cafe that only served coffee but over the years developed itself to a cafe where you can grab a good bite for lunch as well as a hotel where you can stay for the night.
The cafe is beautifully decorated and is a nice place to relax after visiting several temples at the Ayutthaya Historical Park. The menu is small and consists of a few pages of main courses and one page of desserts, but the food that they serve is of excellent quality. Make sure that you try their Fettuccini with Tomato Sauce and Northern Thai Sausage (139 THB), which is a delicious pasta-fusion dish with the spiciness of that Northern Thai Sausage. Another surprisingly delicious meal is their Neko Rice (110 THB), which is fried rice served with chunks mackerel. I haven’t found this dish elsewhere outside Ayutthaya, only at Ayutthaya Retreat as well. It’s simple, it’s tasty and it’s surprising, in other words: check this dish out!
