Phuket Airport Bus

The big bus fare is 90 baht per trip and takes a little less than 2 hours to reach the airport from the main bus station in Phuket Town, while the van can move faster and takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. The van fare is slightly higher at around 100 baht per trip.

All the airport buses and vans depart from the bus stop No 7 at Phuket Bus Station 1, near Royal Phuket City Hotel. It’s also possible to catch a ride at Phuket Bus Station 2, located opposite SuperCheap in Phuket Town. There's no ticket box to purchase the ticket in advance. Simply get on the vehicle and buy it on the spot.



If you've just arrived at Phuket International Airport and want to get the airport bus into town, you'll need to step outside the arrivals building and go to the left (if you’re facing the car park).

With a clear sign saying 'Airport Bus' as well as staff in orange uniforms, you won’t miss it. The bus will go all the way to Phuket Bus Station 1 in Phuket Town (the 'old' bus station off Phang Nga Road), but the driver is usually willing to stop to let people off anywhere on the same road, including Thalang Lotus Shopping Mall, Heroines Monument and Phuket Rajabhat University’s junctions.
