Amazing Thailand
Land of smiles

Cha-Am Night Market

This market is located in Cha-Am, which can be easily reached with the help of a bus or a train. If you bargain well you can get excellent rates. The best of this night market like all the others in Hua Hin is the food stalls. You can find everything in this market from toys for children to pets and animals as well.

Cha Am night market takes place every Wednesday evening from approximately 5:30pm with stalls closing from 9pm and is situated near Cha Am train station just 20 minutes from the resort.

The market is not necessarily geared towards tourists in the sense that it has retained its Thai tradition offering a range of foods from donuts to dumplings, from bugs to biscuits, from chicken to chillies, from cockles to cake, from seafood to sausages and from pasta to popcorn.

Aside from foods there are electronics, cosmetics, tools, trophies, shoes, bags along with a large range of clothing.
There are a few outside bar and seating areas situated along the left side of the market where you can relax and enjoy eating any food you may have purchased whilst enjoying a cold beverage.

Smaller markets also take Place every Monday and Friday night at a different location
The markets really do offer a good insight into Thai culture that is not to be missed. For more information feel free to speak to reception and they will be more than happy to help organise a visit.
