Wat Mangkon Kamalawat
Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, also known as Wat Leng Noei Yi, is a temple that’s nestled in the heart of Chinatown.
The temple is the hub of activities during festivals like Chinese New Year. It’s often referred to as one of Bangkok's most important and largest Chinese-Buddhist temples.
The temple contains spectacular Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian shrines and dates back to 1872 when it was called Wat Leng Nui Yee. King Rama V then changed its name to Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (which means Dragon Lotus Temple).
