Siam Discovery Mall in Bangkok

Siam Discovery is a 7-storey shopping mall with a sophisticated concept of presenting items on display. The concept was created with the help of a Japanese design company, Nendo. The result is very impressive, but possibly a little confusing for those who are used to a more traditional form of shopping in Bangkok. Each floor, or Lab, follows a specific theme like women’s fashion, digital appliances, and homeware.

Highlights of Siam Discovery Mall in Bangkok

Siam Discovery Mall offers bespoke products from companies all over the world. Japanese boutique designer Beautiful People, Tsumori Chisato and Miharayasuhiro are some of the most popular brands for women’s fashion. The Japanese theme continues into His Lab, with Yohji Yamamoto and Dressedundressed. You can also find European and American brands, such as Paul Smith, Boss Orange and Calvin Klein.

Her Lab, or the ground floor of Siam Discovery Mall, has chic boutiques and anchor stores from Issey Miyake, Diesel and Comme des Garcons. As you head to higher floors, you’ll notice a distinct lack of shops. Goods are laid out naturally, as you’d expect to see in a home.



Don’t worry if you are looking for a particular product at the mall – there are plenty of staff on hand to offer assistance. As you look around, there are no cash registers around, which gives you the impression of the mall as a place to hang out rather than to spend money.

On the 3rd floor, there ae the Loft and Habitat anchor stores, as well as interesting fashion jewellery and homeware concept stores. The highest floor of Siam Discovery is dedicated to the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, a stylish food hall with multi-national outlets, and a Virgin Interactive fitness centre.

Siam Discovery Mall is around 250 metres west of the Siam BTS Skytrain Station. It’s also within walking distance of prominent Siam shopping malls such as Siam Center, Siam Paragon, and Siam Square One Mall.
