Myst Rooftop Chiang Mai

Myst Rooftop Bar on the rooftop of Maya Shopping Mall has one of the best sunset views to be found in Chiang Mai. Located on trendy Nimman Road, Myst Bar Chiang Mai overlooks Doi Pui Mountain and on a clear day you can even see the mountain ranges surrounding Chiang Mai. It’s open from 18:00 every night for the sunset. Myst is one of six different bars on the Maya rooftop and most of the customers are Thai and expats. However, the staff are extremely welcoming to any international guests and they all speak English.

Myst Bar is said to be the most popular of the rooftop bars because of their range of drinks. They offer a selection of cocktails by the glass or in a bucket and all of them are colourful and well presented. The cocktails are not cheap, with most starting at 300 Baht, but they are delicious and the views and atmosphere are well worth the higher price.

The most famous drink at Myst is the rainbow shot mix which is a selection of 7 different coloured shots with dry ice added, meaning the shots look like they are giving off steam. Beer, non-alcoholic cocktails and snacks are also available at Myst and the bar area gets busiest on weekends with lives bands and DJs.
