From the moment you see the mammoth size and futuristic look of Maya Shopping Mall, it’s clear there is nothing else like it in the city. Owned and operated by the famous MBK group, this shopping mall is more like those found in the mega-metropolises of Bangkok or Singapore, with six floors of fashion, tech-gadgets, health and beauty, banking, restaurants, and entertainment.

The shops on offer at Maya in Chiang Mai are an interesting mix of Thai and international brands and you’re certain to find something that suits you no matter your personal style. Stand out Thai brands include Jaspal, Panpuri, CC-00 and local favourite Herb Basics, while international flagship stores include Oakley, Adidas, Samsung and Guess. It’s also possible to bag some bargains at the ground floor boutique stalls with a wide range of ladies fashion, and on the second floor there is popular discount outlet 71 Export.



The fourth floor at Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center is dedicated to food, and here you will find restaurants, cafes, bakeries and the ubiquitous fast-food chains. For some of the most delicious and attractive cakes we recommend local Chiang Mai bakery Mont Blanc, while fans of Japanese food will be delighted with the choice on offer – Fuji, Shabushi, Miyabi, Coco Ichibanya to name a few! There is also a 24 hour cafe called C.A.M.P (Creative And Meeting Place), primarily for students from the nearby university, although anyone is welcome for a late night latte.



Maya has an impressive entertainment zone on the fifth floor with a multi screen digital cinema, 7D Galaxy Zone, karaoke and arcade game area, perfect for a leisurely day with the family, and on the top floor there is an Observation Skydeck and party zone. The rooftop floor hosts the lively Myst Rooftop Bar, a great place to watch the sunset and party until late.
